Manish Mahajan

 

Manish has over 20 years of experience of which 17 years were with bulge bracket investment banks including JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland. Prior to co-founding Mount Nathan he was Head of Markets for Singapore and Head of Financial Institutions Sales Asia Pacific for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). At RBS, Manish was responsible for Global Markets products for financial institution clients across the Asia Pacific region and had a team of 120 people reporting to him across 11 centers. In addition, he was also the head of the Singapore Markets business.

 

Prior to that Manish has held several senior level positions as a Managing Director in the Global Markets business for Deutsche Bank in Singapore and in JP Morgan in London. At Deutsche Bank Singapore, Manish was responsible for providing Strategic Solutions to financial institution clients across Asia; these solutions were focused on structured product portfolios and liability management. He was also responsible for interest rate product sales to the same client base. For a short period of time, Manish was also responsible for the sales business to private wealth in Asia. At JP Morgan London, Manish was a Managing Director responsible for derivatives sales for all financial institutions across Europe. His special area of expertise lay within structured products and liability management for financial institutions.

 

Prior to moving to London, Manish was responsible for Fixed Income trading at I-Sec (an ICICI and JP Morgan joint venture) in Mumbai. As part of his role Manish was responsible for setting up and running the first private sector Primary Dealership for government securities in India.Manish's product skills lie in the area of fixed income trading and financial derivatives structuring, marketing and sales. His client base includes Financial Institution clients in Asia and Europe.

 

Manish is a graduate in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai (1991) and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC). He was awarded the Silver Medal at IIMC for securing the second highest academic grades in the graduating year 1993.

 

Nitin Nath

 

Nitin has over 16 year of experience of which 12 years were with Deutsche Bank in the Global Markets division in financial structuring and institutional sales roles. Prior to co-founding Mount Nathan he has held several senior management positions in the credit structuring and listed products arena in Asia.

 

His primary area of functional expertise has been structured credit – a function that he was responsible for Asia – ex Japan, prior to his relocation to India in a senior managerial position. Over the period he has dealt with liquid and illiquid financing solutions in Asian credit markets.

 

Prior to his investment banking experience, he worked with the audit division of a top 4 accountancy firm. Nitin is a graduate from Delhi University and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

 

Mack Kazi

 

Mack has 20 years of banking experience with large banks including Lehman, Standard Chartered, ABN Amro, RBS, and most recently with Macquarie Bank. Mack has primarily been a Trader / Risk Manager during his career (focusing on Asian Fixed Income & Currencies), and has spent 12+ years based in Singapore,  and involved with all aspects of Asian Markets – including managing the trading risk across Fixed Income and Currencies. He has worked in New York, London & Singapore during his career.

 

His latest role was as Head of Asian Markets at Macquarie Bank, where he was responsible for setting up the entire Asian Trading & Sales platform – Managing Risk, as well as being responsible for Sales and Debt Origination teams too. Prior to this, he was the Head of Emerging Markets for ABN Amro / RBS, wherein he was responsible for the entire Asian Trading Team (across 12 countries) – across FX, Rates & Credit asset classes. Mack finished his MBA (Finance) from Rutgers University (NJ, USA), and also finished his coursework for a PhD in Finance there. He holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Bombay University. He is also a CFA charterholder (CFA Institute).
